On November 19, 2022, the “Beijing & Shanghai Lawyer Seminar” co-hosted by Beijing Lawyer Legal Research Association and Shanghai Lawyer Legal Research Association was held both on-site and online in Beijing and Shanghai simultaneously. The Beijing venue is in the Lawyer Museum of China, located on the 3rd floor of Beijing International Hotel.
The seminar successfully invited numerous legal industry leaders, scholars, experts and lawyers. Participants joined the discussion in either on-site or online form. The discussion revolved around important topics such as Chinese Path to Modernization and the development of the lawyer industry. The seminar was broadcasted live on 4 online platforms, attracted more than 10,000 viewers to participate in the discussion.
Titled “The Development Path of the Lawyer Industry in an Era of Great Change”, the seminar included an open discussion part joined by law firm leaders from both Beijing and Shanghai, which was hosted by JAVY’s director, vice-president of Beijing Lawyer Legal Research Association, and the vice-president of Beijing Lawyer Association, Zhao Zenghai, invited to the seminar as a special honored guest. Leaders of 7 law firms from Beijing & Shanghai shared their deep insights & knowledge on the latest hot topics, such as the new changes in the organization structure of the lawyer industry, innovations in the service field, expansion of practice areas, as well as large-scale development & digital transformation of law firms.
The seminar received widely acclaim among participants, as it gathered together the collective wisdom among law firm leaders and contributed to the future development of the legal industry not only in Beijing and Shanghai, but also the entire China.
