On July 21th, 2023, JAVY’s Deng Xu Esq. was invited to the Haidian Tobacco Monopoly Bureau to give a lecture on the new Provisions on the Procedures for Administrative Sanctions of Tobacco Monopoly, which was released on May 16th and replaced the 2010 old regulation.
Mr. Deng’s lecture focused on the legislation background and analysis of the modified provisions in the new regulation, he also shared his own experience on representing administrative litigation and reconsideration cases, and warned the listeners about the potential legal risks in related procedures.
The participants from the bureau praised Mr. Deng’s expertise and knowledge, saying they will be more careful when conducting administrative regulations in the future to avoid legal risks.
