Q1：Welcome lawyer Yang Yahan to join the JAVY family. First of all, please introduce yourself.

Lawyer Yang Yahan:

When I was working in a state-owned enterprise, I had many opportunities to contact lawyers. I found that lawyers have rich professional skills, not just the book knowledge that I am good at. This stimulated my desire for knowledge and exploration. An excellent lawyer! In 2011, I officially became a practicing lawyer. From a law student to an employee of the Legal Department, to a practicing lawyer, I have been learning, exploring, and comprehending in a cycle of continuous learning, exploration, and comprehension. There is joy from the winning judgment, satisfaction from the client's grateful words, and glory from the praise from partners in public welfare undertakings.

Q2：What areas of legal services have you mainly focused on since your practice?

Lawyer Yang Yahan:

Being a lawyer is a very challenging job, which requires not only constant updating of book knowledge, but also active participation in practice, and a comprehensive ability to deal with problems. Since practicing, I have successfully handled a number of cases, ranging from a pension claim of an employee of a state-owned enterprise consulting unit to a lawsuit from a customer; to a special service that affects thousands of people, has a heavy task of maintaining stability, and involves a huge amount of state-owned assets. Always adhere to the original intention, treat work meticulously, not only thoroughly study the laws and precedents, but also comprehensively consider the situation of all parties and consider the long-term interests of customers. All perseverance stems from an original intention and is also a responsibility.

Q3：What was the opportunity that made you choose to join Jiawei Law Firm? After this period of time together, what is your impression of Jiawei Institute?

Lawyer Yang Yahan:

Q4：What kind of lawyer do you think is a good lawyer?

Lawyer Yang Yahan:

A good lawyer is the goal in each of us. In history, there was the "woodworking conspiracy case" agent, such as Dan Nuo, a master of tongue war, such a person with thoughts and beliefs; there was also a "Simpson case" lawyer, De Alan Showitz, a successful defense attorney. Many successful lawyers are not only legal experts in a certain field, but also have a comprehensive knowledge of sociology, philosophy and other aspects. Therefore, I think a good lawyer is not only a hard-working person, but also a learned compound talent.

Q5：Outside of work, what hobbies do you have? Is it affected by occupation? Are these hobbies helpful to your career?

Lawyer Yang Yahan:

In my spare time, I will participate in some sports activities, which can not only strengthen my body, but also relax my body and mind, which has a mediating effect on work and life. I often do some skating, skiing, swimming and badminton. Exercising, like doing other things, requires persistence and overcoming various difficulties, which will bring joy and a sense of achievement in the process of continuous improvement of skills. No matter how busy you are at work, you need a combination of work and rest.

Q6：What is your outlook for the future direction of your career?

Lawyer Yang Yahan:

The lawyer industry is a rapidly developing industry, which is an inevitable result of my country's vigorous development of the rule of law. The need to promote legal development comes from the society. With the rapid economic development, new social things emerge in an endless stream. Among them, Internet infringement, artificial intelligence, the concept of the metaverse, and the protection of virtual assets will all generate more legal needs and new types of legal cases, these may become new growth factors for the legal industry. These matters disrupt traditional legal thinking and old economic frameworks, creating new legal issues that require our lawyers to keep pace with technological developments and explore new solutions.
