
Recently, the International Trademark Association (INTA) formally announced the list of recipients for its 2025 Committee Excellence Awards. Three experts from the China region were selected, with Ms Yang Siping, a solicitor at JAVY Law Firm, being honoured for her outstanding contributions as Co-Chair of the INTA Communications Committee's China Subcommittee.

For the 2024–2025 term, Ms Yang serves as Co-Chair of the INTA Communications Committee's China Subcommittee, overseeing its operations. It also ensures the precise implementation of INTA's global content within China, continuously enhancing the nation's international visibility and professional influence in intellectual property through high-quality content dissemination, thematic seminars and industry exchanges.

Additionally, Ms Yang was selected for the inaugural INTA Global Correspondents Pool. From January 2026, she will undertake the dual responsibility of introducing China's IP developments to the international community while translating cutting-edge global trends for domestic audiences. Simultaneously, she has been elected to the INTA Trademark Review Committee for the 2026–2027 term, participating in the editorial review and contribution to this century-old legal journal, thereby engaging deeply with the forefront of intellectual property scholarship and practice.
