Recently, Ms Yang Siping of JAVY Law Firm was honoured to receive formal notification from the International Trademark Association (INTA) confirming her selection as a member of the inaugural INTA Bulletins Correspondents Pool. This appointment takes effect from 1 January 2026.
The INTA Bulletins represent a highly influential publication within the global intellectual property sphere, with its weekly INTA Bulletin reaching over 60,000 professionals worldwide. This reform sees INTA evolving its traditional committee structure into a network of correspondents comprising leading global professionals, aiming to further aggregate diverse perspectives and provide the industry with more cutting-edge and in-depth professional insights.
Ms Yang Si-ping expresses profound honour at being selected from numerous distinguished candidates to join this elite global team. This recognition not only affirms her professional capabilities but also validates her current role as Co-Chair of the INTA Bulletin China Subcommittee. This appointment marks a progression from leading China-focused initiatives to contributing to the global intellectual property agenda.
Ms Yang's journey within INTA's professional committees began in 2018 when she first joined the INTA Bulletins China Subcommittee. Since then, her professional footprint has remained closely intertwined with INTA Bulletins, with only brief service on other committees due to term regulations.
Over the past several years, Ms Yang has been deeply involved in the committee's work, cumulatively undertaking the following roles:
Author: Drafting multiple professional analyses and commentary pieces;
Reviewer: Validating the technical rigour and accuracy of articles;
Translator: Facilitating the localised dissemination of INTA Bulletins;
Mentor: Guiding new members to integrate swiftly and contribute effectively;
Leadership role: Currently serving as Co-Chair of the INTA Bulletins China Subcommittee.
These invaluable experiences have provided Ms Yang with a profound understanding of INTA's mission and the professional standards of the Bulletins, laying a solid foundation for her new role as Correspondent.
As an INTA Global Correspondent, Ms Yang will continue to author and review professional articles for the INTA Bulletin. She will actively participate in global events such as the 2026 INTA Annual Meeting in London, UK, exchanging ideas with peers worldwide to collectively shape the future landscape of intellectual property. JAVY Law Firm consistently upholds the principles of professionalism, innovation, and internationalisation, dedicated to providing clients with comprehensive, high-quality legal services. This appointment as INTA Global Correspondent represents another significant milestone in Jiawei Law Firm's international development strategy.
