From November 8 to 9, “2024 Guike Annual Conference and Exploration and Breakthrough in the Era of Chinese Lawyer Profession ‘Going Overseas’” was held in Beijing. This year's Guike Annual Conference was hosted by Guike Academy and Mr. Law, and co-sponsored by the Preparatory Committee of Logistics Safety and Law Branch of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and China Wills Bank. The meeting invited many industry experts, guests, directors of law firms, senior lawyers and corporate executives to discuss the “going overseas” road of Chinese lawyers.

On the evening of November 8, as a wonderful prelude to the annual meeting, Guiqi Night Talk, with “Why Lawyers Should Write and Speak” and the premiere of the new book “Words in the Back” as the core topic, attracted many authoritative experts and outstanding elites in the legal field to participate.
Liu Guiming, President of Guike Institute, highly summarized his new book with six “ones”, i.e., “a wish, a destiny, a gratitude, an expression, a creativity, and an expectation”.
Director Zhao cenghai pointed out in his subsequent speech that writing a book is a process for lawyers to turn practice into theory, but writing a book is only the starting point, and teaching and solving problems is the ultimate purpose, which is to inherit the spirit of rule of law construction and to build the foundation for future professional development. It is the ultimate goal to pass on the spirit of the construction of the rule of law and to build the foundation of future professional development. The writing of books and lectures should be the ladder for the progress of legal talents, and the cradle for nurturing legal talents.
At the annual meeting on November 9, Wang Jinxi, professor of the Law School of China University of Political Science and Law and vice president of the Lawyers Law Society of China Law Society, and Liu Guiming, dean of the Guike Institute and deputy director of the preparatory committee of the Logistics Safety and Law Branch of China Federation of Logistics, presented awards to law firms with outstanding performance in the field, and JAVY was honored with the title of “The Best Brand Firm of the Year”. The firm was honored with the title of “Best Brand Law Firm of the Year” at the annual conference, and Mr. Wei Wei, a partner of the firm, received the award on behalf of the firm on the stage.
