On June 27, 2024, Zhao Cenghai Esq., Director and Chief Partner of Javy Law Firm, was invited to attend a seminar held by the Expert Review Committee on Contract Administrative Supervision of the State Administration for Market Regulation. At this event, Zhao was appointed as a member of the Expert Review Committee.
The seminar saw attendance from key figures, including Zhu Jianqiao, Director of the Network Supervision Department, Li Dongwei, Deputy Inspector, Li Chunjing, Director of the Comprehensive Department, Jing Zheng, Deputy Investigator, and Si Caili, staff member of the Comprehensive Department. Participants also included officials from market supervision bureaus in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Ningbo, and experts from prestigious institutions like Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University, and the China Consumers Association.
The meeting commenced with the reading of the "Announcement on the Public Display of Members of the Expert Review Committee on Contract Administrative Supervision" by the State Administration for Market Regulation. A comprehensive report on the committee's recent work was presented, followed by a detailed discussion of future plans. Each committee expert then shared insights and engaged in discussions.
As a member of the Expert Review Committee, Mr. Zhao will participate in activities related to contract administrative supervision. He will provide expert opinions and suggestions on the review of standard clauses and the formulation of contract demonstration texts, contributing to the standardization and scientific advancement of contract administrative supervision.
