In line with the Ministry of Justice and China Disabled Persons' Federation's joint issuance of the "Opinions on Further Strengthening Legal Services for Persons with Disabilities," the China Disabled Persons' Federation recently held a public welfare forum on legal services for persons with disabilities. Cheng Kai, Chairman of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a speech.
During the forum, the China Disabled Persons' Federation announced the list of commendations for petition work in 2023. China Disabled Persons' Federation
The China Disabled Persons' Federation (CDPF), established in March 1988, is a people's organization recognized by national laws and approved by the State Council. It comprises disabled individuals, their families, disability workers, and serves as the unified organization for all types of disabled persons nationwide. The CDPF's objectives are to promote humanitarianism, develop the disability cause, facilitate equal and full participation of disabled persons in social life, and share the material and cultural achievements of society. The CDPF functions in representation, service, and management roles: representing the common interests of disabled persons, protecting their legal rights and interests; uniting and assisting disabled persons, providing services to them; fulfilling legal duties entrusted by the government, undertaking government-assigned tasks, and managing and developing the disability cause.
