On Jan 3rd, 2023, the second meeting of the 14th Chaoyang Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held in Beijing. The meeting released a list for eleven “excellent proposals” submitted by CPPCC Chaoyang committee members in last year, which includes “The Proposal to Accelerate Digital Economy in Chaoyang District”, drafted by JAVY’s executive director Ge Youshan.
In this proposal, Mr. Ge emphasized the importance to develop digital economy in the post-COVID era, he also pointed out the challenges, opportunities and safety net systems that Chaoyang government should take into considerations when developing digital economy.
As an enthusiastic CPPCC member dedicated in public welfare, Mr. Ge had submitted multiple proposals that gained recognition & praise from the Conference, e.g. his proposal “Research on the Positive Effects of Foreign Law Firms Practicing in China” was adopted by the national CPPCC.
Mr. Ge mentioned he will continue to offer practical suggestions to the government to help advancing the economy & social development.
