Yang Junli, Deputy Party Secretary of the Institute of Evidence Science at China University of Political Science and Law, outlined the Institute’s work in student development, covering postgraduate and doctoral training, interdisciplinary development, internationalised curricula and high-level practical platforms. She emphasised that the Institute has long prioritised the cultivation of well-rounded, practice-oriented and internationally-minded legal professionals. The establishment of this joint teaching and practice base with JAVY Law Firm will provide students with a broader platform to engage with real-world cases, participate in practical seminars and enhance their professional capabilities. She also exchanged views on topics including practical training for students, the development of a legal services network, and the synergistic development of artificial intelligence and the legal profession. She noted that law students possess a solid theoretical foundation and that, upon joining the base, they could further enhance their capabilities through case discussions, courtroom observations and practical training.
