To assist the firm’s lawyers in enhancing their personal brand influence, broadening their client acquisition channels, and mastering the firm’s smart digital business card features—thereby enabling efficient client acquisition and personal IP management—JAVY Law Firm successfully hosted a comprehensive training session on 12 March 2026. The event was led by Ms Cao Chunfang, Executive Director of JAVY Law Firm, and Mr Zhou Xin, Head of Operations for the firm’s social media team.

Part 1: Building a Lawyer’s Personal Media Brand
Mr Zhou Xin delivered a comprehensive and in-depth presentation on building a lawyer’s personal media brand. Mr Zhou highlighted the multifaceted necessity of lawyers establishing a personal brand. Firstly, it enhances competitiveness in securing clients, enabling ‘proactive client acquisition’ and helping lawyers avoid the trap of price-based competition, thereby attracting high-quality cases. Secondly, it helps establish a barrier of professional trust, reducing clients’ decision-making costs; only by combining professionalism with trust can a deal be successfully concluded. Finally, it enables lawyers to overcome geographical service limitations, amplify brand value, and achieve the transition from a “local firm” to a “national brand”.
Regarding specific implementation methods, Mr Zhou proposed that the first step to breaking through the status quo is to identify a “unique label”: clearly defining areas of expertise, uncovering core strengths, targeting specific audiences, and establishing a professional persona. This involves building trust through professional content, with topics ranging from legal education and case analyses to commentary on current affairs. Content formats include short videos, articles, and live streams. When creating content, it is essential to maintain professional rigour, ensure clarity and accessibility, provide practical value, and convey a human touch. Simultaneously, sustained efforts are required to amplify influence through consistent content updates, active engagement, data analysis, and capitalising on trending topics.
Part 2: Practical Training on Smart Business Cards
Solicitor Cao Chunfang provided the attending lawyers with a detailed introduction to the various functions and usage methods of the Smart Business Card. Ms Cao first explained the full range of features, including how to activate the Smart Business Card, create a personal profile, and share it with others. Through the Smart Business Card, lawyers can comprehensively showcase their professional information, practice experience and successful cases, allowing clients to gain a more thorough understanding of them.
During the practical demonstration, Ms Cao demonstrated client management functions in real time. Lawyers can use the Smart Business Card to categorise and manage client information, promptly follow up on client needs, and improve client conversion rates. Furthermore, Ms Cao shared how to utilise the red packet feature to attract client attention and activate potential leads. By setting up red packet campaigns, lawyers can encourage clients to initiate enquiries, increase opportunities for interaction with clients, and thereby improve client acquisition efficiency.
The event received unanimous praise from the participating lawyers. Attendees unanimously expressed that, through this training, they had not only gained a deeper understanding of building a personal legal media brand but had also mastered the techniques for using smart business cards, providing strong support for their future practice. At the same time, they looked forward to more similar exchange activities in the future to jointly promote the brand building and business development of JAVY Law Firm.
