Amidst the global digital revolution and the rapid advancement of AI technology, the legal services industry is undergoing unprecedented transformation and challenges. To proactively address this era's trends and seize the developmental opportunities presented by AI technology, JAVY Law Firm successfully hosted the ‘Intelligent Mastery of the Future: Practical AI Growth Strategies for Legal Professionals’ event on 26 December 2025. The event featured special guest speakers: Attorney Zhang Chen, former Operations Director at JD.com, and Mr Kou Shuai, Operations Director at Beijing Law Firm.

At the outset, Mr Zhang Chen demonstrated the extensive applications and significant outcomes of AI tools within the legal services sector through multiple practical case studies. These examples not only highlighted the immense potential of AI tools for enhancing traffic and expanding business operations but also provided invaluable insights for attending solicitors. Mr Zhang Chen focused on the practical application of tools such as Doubao AI in legal consultation and document processing. He noted that AI tools significantly reduce lawyers' working hours and enhance the accuracy and professionalism of legal documents when used for drafting statements of claim, reviewing contracts, conducting precedent searches, and preparing legal opinions.
Addressing the potential ‘hallucination’ issue in AI tools – where fabricated information or misinterpretations may occur – Attorney Zhang Chen proposed countermeasures including incorporating external knowledge sources, verifying the authority of cited precedents, employing multi-angle questioning, and refining prompting techniques. He emphasised that while AI hallucinations cannot be entirely eradicated under current technological constraints, their impact can be substantially mitigated through scientific methodologies and techniques, thereby safeguarding the reliability and authority of legal services.
Subsequently, Mr Kou Shuai conducted an in-depth analysis of the current landscape within the legal profession. He noted that the digital revolution is reshaping the legal services market at an unprecedented pace, intensifying competition not only among traditional law firms but also against emerging legal technology companies. In this environment, solicitors seeking to distinguish themselves must keep pace with the times, leveraging digital tools to expand business channels and enhance service quality.
Regarding account management, Mr Kou drew upon his extensive practical experience to offer detailed guidance across multiple dimensions. Concerning account positioning, he emphasised the importance of precise targeting based on the lawyer's specialised field, personal characteristics, and target clientele. Additionally, Mr Kou highlighted the significance of account promotion and engagement. By collaborating with accounts in related fields and participating in industry discussions, one can expand an account's influence and visibility. Actively responding to user comments and private messages fosters positive engagement, strengthening user retention and loyalty.
During the interactive session, attending solicitors posed numerous questions, engaging in in-depth discussions with the speaker on selecting AI tools, practical application techniques, and overcoming challenges. The speaker patiently addressed each query, sharing additional hands-on insights and experiences, creating a lively and harmonious atmosphere.
