The inaugural "Carbon Market Legal Compliance Seminar" and Launch Ceremony for the Carbon Market Legal Compliance Training Program were successfully held at JAVY Law Firm on March 14, 2024. This event, jointly organized by the Dual Carbon Talents Network, JAVY Law Firm, and China Carbon Education Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., aimed to implement the requirements for building basic capacity in the carbon market, promote legal compliance development in carbon-related businesses, and enhance the legal profession's capabilities in the "dual carbon" field.

Wang Wenyong, Vice Chairman of the Environmental Resources Committee of Beijing Bar Association and Senior Partner of JAVY Law Firm, moderated the seminar. He emphasized the unique opportunities and challenges faced by lawyers in the "dual carbon" era, encouraging continuous learning and adaptation to contribute effectively.
The seminar featured keynote speeches by experts such as Professor Tan Baiping from Beijing University of Technology and Xiaolin, Deputy Minister of Legal Compliance at the China Carbon Emissions Rights Registration and Settlement Co., Ltd. They provided insights into legal compliance issues and practical suggestions for navigating the carbon market's legal landscape.
The event also included a signing ceremony for the Carbon Market Legal Compliance Training Program, aiming to enhance lawyers' abilities in enterprise carbon compliance management and carbon-related judicial practice.
