On February 21, 2024, after the first snow of the Year of the Dragon, Yang Liangyi, an expert on international arbitration and teacher at the Ministry of Justice Foreign-Related Lawyers Advanced Training Program, along with Wang Hongsong, Associate Professor Feng Hui from the School of Law of the University of International Business and Economics, Independent Arbitrator Si Jia, Ma Yadong, Head of the Legal Department of Zhenhua Petroleum Co., Ltd., and Li Xiuqi, Alumni Affairs Office of the Law School of Renmin University, visited JAVY's Beijing headquarters. They held a discussion and exchange meeting on foreign-related legal services with foreign-related lawyer classmates participating in the program.
Mr. Yang brought the latest developments in international arbitration practice and international law to the students. Outside the venue, the snow was white, and inside the venue, the discussion was enthusiastic. The students actively spoke and asked questions, while the teachers explained patiently and enthusiastically.
After the discussion and exchange meeting, Mr. Yang signed and presented a new co-authored book titled "The Validity of Contracts - Impacts of Misrepresentation, Mistake, Illegality, Duress, etc." to the students and teachers, encouraging everyone to continue studying the "mathematics, physics, and chemistry" of common law in order to excel in new areas of foreign-related legal business.
