On the afternoon of December 27, 2023, the Foreign Affairs Legal Professional Committee (referred to as "Foreign Affairs Committee") held its 2023 year-end business exchange meeting at JAVY Headquarters in Beijing.
Director Zhao Zenghai attended the meeting. Director Zhao expressed particular appreciation for the work of the Foreign Affairs Committee, describing their achievements over the past year as "proactive and remarkable." He provided in-depth analysis on the opportunities and challenges facing foreign legal services currently and encouraged everyone to "innovate boldly and take responsibility," providing high-quality legal services for Chinese enterprises and citizens going global.
Wang Chunmin, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, chaired the meeting, where participating foreign affairs lawyers took turns to speak. They reviewed their individual achievements in 2023 in detail, shared significant foreign cases, international cooperation projects, new industry opportunities, and provided their insights into next year's work plan.
At the end of the meeting, participants engaged in free-flowing discussions, extensively exploring the characteristics of foreign legal services, the necessary qualities, and the future development of JAVY's Foreign Affairs Committee. This segment generated numerous new viewpoints and ideas, offering valuable insights for the committee's work in 2024. There was unanimous agreement that Chinese foreign legal services are timely and promising, and the Foreign Affairs Committee is poised for significant growth and breakthroughs in 2024.
