On July 7th, 2023, more than a dozen of teachers and students from the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing normal University paid a visit to JAVY, as a part of an initiative for the students to experience various careers in advance. They were warmly received by JAVY’s senior partner An Hongpeng Esq., partner Liu Jing Esq. and head of our legal research department Liu Lu Esq., as well as associates Zhang Zuobin Esq. and Li Aishuang Esq.
Ms. Li introduced to the students about the lawyer profession, the concept of justice and law, as well as mock court trials, she hoped student will have the rule of law in mind and hopefully enter the profession later in their career path.
Xie Zijing, a teacher from the BNU High School expressed her thanks for JAVY’s great support for the career orientation, she hoped that the students may learn knowledge which could not be found on text books from the lawyers.
Mr. An talked about juvenile crime prevention, he hoped that the students may draw powers from knowledge in order to achieve great goals.
Ms. Liu shared her insight on where does the law come from and what can we learn about law. Mr. Zhang also shared his experience as a lawyer and advised the student to broaden their mind and vision about career and life.
The students then experienced a mock trial based on real events, they then took a tour around JAVY’s office. The teachers and students highly appreciated JAVY’s elegant working environment, as well as the culture and atmosphere, they agreed that this was a well worth visit. We hope this visit may inspire the students to plan their career in advance.
