On October 14^th, 2022, JAVY’s Business Law committee held its 1st case seminar, joined by more than ten lawyers including senior partner Wang Ming, partner Yang Shunyi, Jiang Zhixin, Li Xin, the committee director Yang Shunyi presided the seminar.

This seminar focused on two difficult legal issues: 1. what interests does the lessee have towards the property during the lease contract, and whether those interests could be categorized as ownership or other rights in property. 2. How to list a shareholder whose asset is suspected to be confused with company property, as a judgment debtor, if the company itself is already insolvent.

The members then discussed and offered insights on the topics with analysis of real cases they had worked on throughout the years, everyone agreed that they had a deeper understanding on the topic thanks to the seminar. The Business Law committee will continue to host such events & meetings to share the knowledge among lawyers and thus provide more quality service to our clients.
