On November 4^th, 2022, JAVY’s Commercial Law committee held a seminar discussing strategies in difficult and complicated cases. More than ten lawyers including senior partner Wang Ming, partners Li Xin, Yang Shunyi, Liu Rui, Zhang Ying, Di Kunpeng and others joined the discussion, this seminar was presided by committee chairman Wang Ming.

The committee discussed four issues which are among the key factors in difficult and complicated commercial lawsuits, including:

·       Litigation strategies in loan cases disguised as partnership disputes;

·       Litigation strategies in broadcasting & TV licensing agreement cases;

·       Litigation strategies to include shareholders whose capital contribution is not yet due as debtors;

·       Litigation strategies to force the company to assist transferring the shares in shareholder dispute arbitrations even when the company is not a party.

All the above topics were brought up with real life cases as an example, each lawyers contributed to the discussion with their insights. At the end of the 3-hour long heated discussion, every topics were thoroughly explored. The attendees agreed that this was a highly productive seminar and time well-spent, and hoped JAVY will hold more of these discussions in the future.
