Q：Before the interview, we learned that your earliest higher education was a music major. During your student years, your work has won two ministerial awards, and you even served as the music director of a CCTV show. Is there any connection between your art studies and achievements in the past and your growth as a "cross-cutting lawyer"?

Artistic ability and aesthetic ability are complementary. In a broad sense, the ultimate goal of law is to make the society present goodness and let the public enjoy the sense of beauty. Please note that the law itself has a great aesthetic meaning of social aesthetics; in a narrow sense, such as music art, it pays attention to the rhythm, the influence of the rhythm and even the driving force. The emotions of the listener, when a lawyer is in a court debate, if he/she understands and can effectively master the rhythm of the debate and its rhythmic effects, this will not make him/herself passive. In litigation, it coincides with many theories in music. For example, litigation has its own specific steps and procedures. At the same time, there are also the rhythm and rules of litigation. Civil litigation has its specific steps and procedures, and criminal litigation has its own differences. The same litigation steps and procedures coincide with the logic of knowledge of harmony progression, musical structure, and rhythmic connection in music. Of course, when I first went to college, I chose to study music not to be a lawyer in the future. At that time, I just thought that "music can help the human soul to express well and express freely!"

Q：I heard that you have studied psychology very systematically and obtained the "National Psychological Counselor Professional Qualification". I feel that the industry span is very large. What is driving it? Is it no longer interested in the free expression of the soul?

It is not that I am no longer interested in the free expression of the soul, but that I pay more attention to it. As I grow older and have more contact with all classes of society, I find more and more that it is always difficult to prevent the harm to myself caused by worries or feelings in life. This kind of harm is often profound, and it cannot be done by music alone. Completely relieved. I think maybe psychology can play an active role in this regard. Moreover, a psychological counselor who understands art and has a certain aesthetic knowledge will definitely bring more comfort to patients with mental illness, and it will be more conducive to giving people who are psychologically imbalanced with their human dignity.

Q：Did you later realize that putting psychology in legal practice, especially as a lawyer, will increase the intensity of humanistic care?

Yes! There are a lot of knowledge and rules in the law, which are derived from psychology. For example, the deductive reasoning syllogism in "Jurisprudence", that is, the premise and the conclusion, this logical reasoning is derived from the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates’ "Midwives" Reasoning" is the same as many basic theories of psychology. In addition, mastering psychology helps a lawyer to understand the true psychological demands of both parties more accurately, which is very important for resolving legal disputes!

Q：From a musician to a lawyer, on the surface it is just a crossover, but in essence it is sublimation.
