To enhance the physical fitness of solicitors, strengthen team cohesion, and foster cross-firm, cross-specialist, and cross-regional collaboration, Beijing JAVY Law Firm, Beijing Zhongdun Law Firm, Beijing Yunjia Law Firm, and Beijing Jingshi Law Firm jointly organised a four-firm badminton exchange tournament on 10 January 2026. This event served not only as a light-hearted social gathering but also as a significant opportunity for the participating firms to deepen mutual understanding and strengthen collaborative ties.
The JIA LAWYER Badminton Team enthusiastically participated in the tournament, fully demonstrating the firm's exceptional spirit and competitive drive on the court.
Over 50 badminton enthusiasts took part in the event. The tournament adopted an ‘unparalleled’ format, forming ten teams from Friendship Team 1 to Friendship Team 10. These teams were divided into Pool A and Pool B, with each team comprising five players.
Prior to the official commencement of the friendly tournament, Director Zhang Jianfeng of Zhongdun Law Firm delivered an enthusiastic opening address. Subsequently, Fu Jinfeng, captain of the Zhongdun Badminton Team, provided a detailed explanation of the tournament preparations and specific competition rules, before leading all participating athletes through a thorough warm-up session.
To maximise integration and interaction, team members were not restricted to their own squad but were randomly assigned via draw to complete team formations. Once teams were assembled, the organising committee drew lots to allocate them to either the A or B half of the draw. Both halves featured five groups playing a round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group advancing. Following this, the final rankings from first to fourth place were determined directly according to pre-announced criteria: overall points first, followed by net games won, and then net points.
On court, participating solicitors displayed high spirits and fierce determination. Following intense competition, Friendship Team 1 claimed the championship, Friendship Team 8 secured second place, Friendship Team 3 took third, and Friendship Team 10 finished fourth. All members of the JIA LAWYER Badminton Team achieved commendable results in this tournament.
The successful hosting of this four-firm badminton exchange tournament exemplifies Jia Law Firm's proactive promotion of cross-firm collaboration.
