Recently, the 13th Beijing Universities Mock Interview Competition came to a successful conclusion in a warm atmosphere. JAVY law firm partner Wei Wei and partner Tian Qiuying were invited to be the judges of the competition, and together with law experts from many universities in Beijing and abroad and business leaders, they provided professional guidance for the participating students, and helped to improve the professional quality of young legal talents.
In the course of the competition, Wei Wei and Tian Qiuying commented on the performance of the students by virtue of their own practical experience and professional insight. Combined with their own years of experience in the legal workplace, they also put forward questions and suggestions on career planning, legal understanding, etc., in the hope of triggering the outstanding law students to think about the legal profession, and to be more successful in their future employment or study process.
The competition implements the ‘Employment Navigator’ programme of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League for college students in 2025, aiming to guide college students to establish the concept of choosing a career by ‘blossoming youth wherever the motherland needs them’. The competition focuses on the improvement of grassroots employment ability, and through the restoration of real job-seeking scenarios, it provides a practical interview environment for students, helping them to improve their interview skills and accumulate job-seeking experience.
JAVY law firm has always been committed to promoting the deep integration of legal education and practice, and actively involved in various legal education public welfare activities. The two lawyers served as judges for the competition, which is another powerful measure for JAVY law firm to deepen the practice of public welfare in legal education. In the future, JAVY law firm will continue to deepen the co-operation with colleges and universities, to carry out more diverse and rich in content of the law education public welfare activities, in order to promote the development of China's legal education.
