On the afternoon of February 29th, the seventh "Seminar on Practical Issues of Duty- Crimes" was successfully held at the JAVY Law Firm.
The seminar was conducted by An Hongpeng Esq., senior partner at JAVY and Secretary-General of the Criminal Business Research Association of Chaoyang Lawyers Association. The event was also broadcasted online via JAVY's video platform.
During the seminar, Mr. An combined his years of experience in investigating duty-related crimes and working in disciplinary inspection and supervision. He particularly focused on his reflections and research as a lawyer, based on his book titled "Lessons Learned from Leadership Failures in Dealing with Legal Risks and Psychological Defense and Offense Strategies" published by the Central Party School Press. Through real-life cases, participants engaged in case-based lectures, analysis of defense and offense strategies, interactive discussions, and clarified key points in judicial determination to enhance defense and prevention skills.
Additionally, Mr. An introduced his innovative legal service product, the "Consultation on Integrity and Compliance in Public Office and Employment." This service aims to leverage legal professionalism to assist public officials in self-examination and rectification, avoid disciplinary and legal risks, and support various levels of disciplinary inspection and supervision departments as a "think tank."
The seminar combined legal principles with case studies, delving progressively deeper to provide highly targeted and actionable insights into defense and prevention techniques for duty-related crimes. Participants enthusiastically contributed their thoughts, expressing significant benefits from the event.
