On the morning of January 8th at 9:30 am, the third meeting of the fourteenth committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Chaoyang District, Beijing, was grandly opened at the Beijing Conference Center. Members of the CPPCC from various sectors and fronts across the district gathered together. Our executive director Ge Youshan Esq., a standing committee member of the CPPCC Chaoyang District, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Mr. Ge fully demonstrated his legal expertise, actively participated in political discussions, delved into economic, social, and livelihood issues, and conscientiously served as a legal consultant to the government, providing constructive suggestions for the harmonious development of Chaoyang.
As Mr. Ge pointed out, "Conscientiously fulfilling responsibilities and strengthening mission commitment" is the duty of every CPPCC member. In the future, he will continue to contribute wisdom and strength with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, actively offering advice and suggestions for the construction of Chaoyang and the solid promotion of China's modernization. During the opening ceremony, Wang Xu, the Chairman of the CPPCC Chaoyang District, was entrusted by the Standing Committee of the Fourteenth Committee of the CPPCC Chaoyang District to report on the work to the assembly. The report comprehensively summarized the main work and achievements of the fourteenth committee of the district CPPCC in 2023, emphasizing that 2024 is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the PRC and a crucial year for implementing the 14th Five-Year Plan.
