On October 21st to 22nd 2023, the 14^th Forum of Bankruptcy Law was held in Beijing, organized by Remin University, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Beijing Bankruptcy Law Society and Beijing Bankruptcy Court, joined by more than 900 legal experts from all over the country, to discuss the latest development in the field.

JAVY’s senior partner Zhang Li Esq. was invited to join the discussion of forum. Mr. Zhang’s working paper On the Prudent Application of the Rule of Equitable Subordination in Solving Shareholder Disputes, was included in the 14th forum’s selected works.

Experience: Mr. Zhang worked for the procuratorate and legal media before becoming an attorney, he has been in the legal industry for more than 20 years, awarded as excellent lawyer and litigator for numerous times. He is specialized in dealing with complex and major business disputes, and has won numerous retrial cases in the Supreme People’s Court. He has also participated in more than 50 IPO, M&A, bankruptcy and liquidation projects. Mr. Zhang is also an expert on legal risk assessment and corporate compliance for numerous provincial think tanks.
