On July 27, the "Legal Dynamics: Study Tour" event, organized by the Youth League Committee of the Beijing Chaoyang District Lawyers Association and its Young Lawyers Working Committee (YLWC), was successfully held at the JAVY Law Firm. Attendees included Zhang Shuai, Secretary of the Youth League Committee and Director of YLWC, Vice Directors Bao Jian and Wu Nan, and Deputy Secretary General Wu Junji. JAVY Law Firm was represented by Director Zhao Cenghai Esq., Deputy Director Cao Chunfang Esq., and Partner Cai Lei Esq. The event, hosted by Bao Jian, attracted over 50 enthusiastic lawyers and received a warm response.
Mr. Zhao warmly welcomed the attendees and discussed the development of young lawyers within the context of Chinese modernization. He emphasized three key factors: timing, location, and human resources. He highlighted the Party's emphasis on the rule of law, as outlined in the 20th National Congress report, and the projected growth of the legal profession, with 750,000 practicing lawyers expected by 2025. Beijing's strategic position and the concentration of lawyers in Chaoyang District further underscore the unique opportunities for young lawyers. Zhao also shared his own experiences and encouraged young lawyers to be proactive, resilient, and continuously seek self-improvement.
Zhang Shuai expressed gratitude for JAVY's support and shared his own uncertainties about career development as a young lawyer, emphasizing the importance of such exchanges for professional growth. Deputy Director Cao Chunfang stressed the mission of young lawyers to drive industry change and encouraged them to seize learning opportunities and enhance their skills.
During the interactive session, Ms. Cao addressed various concerns and elaborated on JAVY’s support policies and remuneration system. Mr. Cai gave a lecture on "The Basic Qualities of Investment Professional Lawyers," providing insights through practical examples.
The event concluded with a tour of JAVY's facilities, including office halls, conference rooms, a mock courtroom, and cultural spaces.
