On July 21th, 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held a training session for its cadres on combating corporate corruption. JAVY’s senior partner An Hongpeng was invited to give a lecture at the meeting.

Mr. An’s lecture focused on the potential illegal activities and discipline violations that Party cadres are prone to fall into in their official capacity, using examples quoted in his book “On Leaders’ Risk of Illegal Activities” to warn the listeners about the legal risks they would be facing if not careful.

Mr. An also introduced to the listeners his legal service product “compliance consolation for officials’ integrity”, the product aims to provide one-stop solutions to corporate compliance for state-owned enterprises, to help the public officials to conduct self-exam on their potential illegal activities and discipline violations, to reduce the risk of corruption, as well as aid the works of Commission for Discipline Inspection.
