On July 20th, JAVY Law Firm held a seminar on due diligence investigation, with our partner Cai Lei Esq. as the lecturer, joined by more than a dozen of lawyers. The discussion was streamed online and viewed by 2000 people concurrently, with almost 8k upvotes.
Mr. Cai’s lecture contains 3 sections: 1. What are due diligence investigations? 2. How do conduct such investigations. 3. The typical due diligence investigations.
Mr. Cai first introduced the concept of due diligence investigation, then talked about its content and methods, he also pointed out the risks and focuses one should notice when conducting the investigation, sharing his years of experience in dealing with related cases.
Mr. Cai’s suggestions include: 1. The investigator should ascertain the facts with all possible means. 2. The investigating methods should be based on actual demands. 3. The investigator should identify the problems, as well as provide solutions.
After the lecture, Mr. Cai answered numerous questions from the participants. The lecture was highly received by the audience.
