On April 20th, 2023, JAVY hosted a seminar on equity financing at our Beijing office, with our partner Xue Jing Esq. as lecturer, participated by more than 30 lawyers. The live steaming of the seminar was viewed by thousands of people online.
Ms. Xue has worked on numerous large projects such as: The IPO of Jiangsu Cnano Technology Co., Ltd., bankruptcy of Jin Feng Co. at the request of CECEP Industrial Energy Conservation Co., Ltd., the acquisition of multiple energy companies by Beijing Enterprises Clean Power Co., Ltd., a 1.5 Billion RMB trust financing project for an AI Robot company, etc. She has also published numerous books & articles on commercial law and foreign laws.
In her lecture, Ms. Xue talked about the current law, case study and the new draft Company Law, focusing on topics such as the VAM agreement (gambling clause), anti-dilution provisions, liquidation preference, etc., as well as other provisions on corporate governance. She also analyzed the possible impact of the new Company Law, as well as the business logics behind some of its articles. Ms. Xue’s deep knowledge on the topics gained cheers and applause from the audience.
