On September 2nd afternoon, JAVY held a seminar titled “Legal Service for SRDI Enterprises”, the seminar was lectured by director of JAVY’s SRDI legal service committee Dong Hongtao Esq., and attended by more than 20 lawyers.
Mr. Dong had worked in the people’s procuratorate of Anqiu, Shandong, National Tourism Administration’s department of policy and regulation, as well as the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in various fields. In today’s lecture, Mr. Dong focused on three main points, including: 1. SRDI enterprises and the Beijing Stock Exchange, 2. such enterprises’ demands & pain points, 3. law firms as the coordinator of enterprises going public.
SRDI stands for Specialized, Refinement, Differential and Innovation, meaning those specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products. Mr. Dong explained that SRDI enterprises are the most innovative groups and the backbone of China’s new economy, the newly established BSE offers a huge opportunity for such enterprises due to its lower requirement in profit, this also provides lawyers and law firms with a great chance to participate and share the profit in this thriving market.
After the lecture, Mr. Dong answered the questions from attendees, everyone joined the lively discussion, sharing their insights & experiences on the topic.
