On March 13, 2023, JAVY’s lawyer Wang Li was invited by China Mobile, one of the largest telecommunication companies in China, to deliver a lecture on consumer rights protection, hundreds of China Mobile’s employees attended the lecture both on-site and online.
As legal counsel of China mobile’s Beijing branch, Ms. Wang analyzed the many legal risks she had discovered while doing lawsuits for the company, she instructed the employees on how to identify and avoid those risks, and thus better protect the consumers’ rights.
In her lecture Ms. Wang emphasized on the 4 following points: 1. protecting the consumers’ personal information, 2. protecting the consumers’ right to know, 3. protecting the consumer’s safety. 4. Protecting the consumers’ privacy. She used real cases to illustrate her points and gave practical advices. After the lecture, Ms. Wang responded to many questions from the audience and offered detailed answers.
