Q：Why did you choose JAVY Law Firm? What is JAVY in your eyes?

Attorney Lu Da:

Because I had an internship at JAVY during my school period, and I had a deep understanding of JAVY’s harmonious atmosphere, professionalism and lawyer training model, which other law firms could not provide. In my view, JAVY is another home of mine.

"In a short while, the moon is printed on the lake, the insects are everywhere, and the bamboo couch is placed under the fence..." using a passage from the "Boudoir Music" of "Six Chapters of a Floating Life" to describe JAVY's current office environment like this. This describing is more appropriate. Comparing with the traffic lights of China World Trade Center, here beside Pian'an River is a little more indifferent and calm.

Q：Do you remember your original intention to practice law? Was there any wavering after practicing?

Attorney Lu Da:

Engaging in the legal profession mainly stems from my pursuit of social fairness and justice, for the benefits of thousands of people, and for the rule of law’s society.

My original intention has not been shaken. The law has become an integral part of my life. As a legal person, I hope that I cannot forget my original intention and take actions to defend the dignity of the law and maintain the fairness and justice of the law.

Q：How do you feel when you get the first pennant after practicing? What did you go through in the process of handling the case?

Attorney Lu Da:

I was very surprised to get the pennant, and I was particularly moved. This pennant was not only a recognition of my work, but also provided guidance for my practice attitude and direction in the future.

In this case, the two parties' determination of the amount of crime was too different, and it took several communications to reach a settlement. But unexpectedly, on the last day before the arrest, the victim repented. We had to communicate with the prosecutor again and educate the other party. After unremitting efforts, we finally stabilized the emotion of the victim and allowed the suspect in this case to be released on bail pending trial. This case also reminded me again that the criminal procedure is rigorous, and there is no room for deviation. If you want to achieve the goal, you must take every step firmly.

Q：You have participated in a lot of public welfare activities, can you tell me more about it? Why are you keen on public welfare?

Attorney Lu Da:

The public welfare activities I participated in included the exploration of the legal system for protecting the rights and interests of female employees, the legal path for migrant workers to negotiate wages, and the protection of the rights and interests of employees in new forms of business, and so on.

I am passionate about public welfare. On the one hand, it is out of my own goodness, especially for disadvantaged groups, hoping that the justice of the law can be realized on them; on the other hand, it is out of my professional ethics to carry out legal aid and social welfare activities are also the duty of lawyers.

Every charity event, if I can help them, I will have a sense of value and achievement. This is also the motivation for me to continue to pursue the legal dream.

Looking forward to my future self, I will not change my original intention, be diligent and responsible, deeply rooted in my field of expertise, and become a professional talent in one or more fields.
