Q：Why choose to come to Jiawei?

Lawyer Wang Zichang：

At the beginning of 2018, I followed Director Zhao Zenghai from the Zhongyin Law Firm here, so for this question, it is better for me to ask why I have stayed at the Jiawei Law Firm until now.

The main reason why I stayed at JAVY is that I already have deep feelings with the people here. The director, Attorney Cao, Attorney Ge, and other leaders of the management committee are kind to me and get along well with my colleagues in the law firm. My friends often joked and asked me, "Don’t you think to change to the other place?", but I really do not want to leave Jiawei.

I am now a commission lawyer, and my biggest concern is commission funds. Jiawei's commission ratio is indeed relatively high in the same industry, and the speed of giving-money is also relatively fast. Moreover, the working environment of JAVY is also pretty nice. Like working in a garden daily, I can see green pillow trees beside the Tonghui River, and I feel more comfortable when I am annoying at hard work.

Finally, this is a place where a group of lovely people gather. Everyone I know is kind and hardworking. As long as you treat each other with sincerity, I believe you can make friends here and you won't feel lonely. This is also the main reason why I have been staying at Jiawei.

Q：What was your original intention of engaging in the legal profession? Why choose the field of criminal defense and agency?

Lawyer Wang Zichang：

At first, I didn't think too much about it, when I was on the university campus and as a graduate student I had been studying law, so of course I would be engaged in the legal profession after graduation.

The choice of criminal field is mainly based on my interest. My favorite job was not to pursue to be a lawyer, but a prosecutor or a staff member of the discipline inspection department. In addition, after working in the lawyer industry, under the encouraging of Director Zhao and other senior lawyers, I have been exposed to more fields of business more extensively around law. Such as marriage and inheritance law, contract disputes. After groping around, I found that I still hade to choose a professional direction. Relatively speaking, I am more interested in criminal business, I think it suits my personality better.To tell you the truth, I am a bit addicted to criminal business now.

Q：You have done several criminal cases that were closed without prosecution. Can you share your experience in handling the cases?

Wang Zichang Lawyer：

So far this year, there have indeed been three non-prosecution cases, but it cannot be said that all the cases were closed without prosecution.

For such cases, the case itself has the possibility of not being prosecuted for defense. This is the basis of these kind of cases. In this case, prosecutors are sympathetic and dedicated to their duties; lawyers work earnestly and try their best; the clients clearly understand the matter, and if it is indeed a crime, but the circumstances are not serious, it is necessary to express an attitude of admitting mistakes. These aspects are indispensable.

Q：What are your personal goals and plans in recent years?

Wang Zichang Lawyer：

I continue to work hard in the criminal field to live up to the trust of every party. I hope to strive to do more better for the clients and Jiawei.
