On June 9th, the Fifth Congress of Beijing Chaoyang District of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang was successfully held. Present at the meeting were wang hong, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee, Vice Mayor of Beijing Municipal Government and Chairman of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee; Wang Hao, Secretary of Chaoyang District Committee; Chen Tao, Chairman of Chaoyang District Political Consultative Conference; Wang Xu, Deputy Secretary of Chaoyang District Committee, Secretary of Political and Legal Committee and President of Party School; Li Guohong, Standing Committee Member of Chaoyang District Committee and Minister of United Front Work Department; Luo Ying, Deputy Secretary-General of Beijing CPPCC and Full-time Deputy Chairman of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee; and Li Yan, Deputy Director of Party Division of United Front Work Department of Beijing Municipal Committee. More than 100 people attended the meeting, including representatives of democratic parties, federations of industry and commerce and personages without party affiliation in Chaoyang District, as well as representatives of old leaders of Chaoyang District Committee and old chairmen of branches of the National Revolutionary Committee.

Lawyer Ge Youshan, Executive Director and Senior Partner of JAVY Law Firm, attended the meeting as the representative of the Fifth Congress of Chaoyang District of the Chinese Revolution.    

In the subsequent voting session, the Fifth Committee of Chaoyang District of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee was elected by secret ballot.

Liang Xinhua was elected chairman of the Fifth Committee, Feng Jing, Jin Xiaoping, Ge Youshan, Jiang Yonghai and Song Zhimei were elected vice chairmen, and Zhao Peng was appointed secretary general.    

At the closing ceremony of the meeting, Ge Youshan, Vice Chairman of the Fifth Committee, read the Letter to the outgoing Chairman, Vice Chairman and Members on behalf of the new Committee.
